Life Coaching London – Personality Profiling

People excel and shine in roles that are a good match for their skills and natural behaviour styles. A personality profile can identify and highlight communication styles that are vital to career and relationships. Imagine the benefits of knowing what yours are!

Conflict arises when people do not act in accordance with others’ expectations. Once you understand what motivates you, and others, to behave in a particular way, you are more likely to react positively towards them, and less likely to harbour negative feelings. Awareness of underlying motivations can allow you to defuse situations before they even start. When we understand the intention behind behaviour, conflict and disagreement are greatly reduced.

Communication at Home and at Work

Careless, critical remarks threaten relationships and morale. Knowing your, and others’, Personality Profile helps you give feedback non-confrontationally. Neutralise potential problems by using an individual’s preferred communication style, ensuring the desired outcome is achieved by minimising misinterpretation. If there is lack of understanding, comments may all too easily be misconstrued. Remember: the style of your communication significantly affects the response you get.

Stress

Stress is a proven factor that contributes to under-performance and sickness. Personality Profiling is a vital tool to combat stress by swiftly identifying individuals who are frustrated or under stress. Early identification / management of stress is a key requirement for modern life.

Career Planning and Personal Development

Personality Profiling shows how certain styles suit certain occupations. Correctly matching people with their roles leads to effective career planning, greater satisfaction, productivity and creativity.

In Teams and Families

Valuing the contribution of others leads to more harmonious interactions, as individuals feel appreciated for their talents, and appreciate what others do for them.

Which profile?

The are many possible profiles available. My preferred choice is one of the most highly validated instruments of its kind, devised by Dr William Marston, inventor of the Polygraph (lie-detector). It is my preferred option because it is fast and straight-forward to complete, and gives a wealth of information in return for a small financial investment. This means it is well within the budget of individuals or small businesses.

The profile…

…consists of a short questionnaire which takes just 7 minutes to complete, in your own home. There are no right or wrong answers and you are evaluated by your own perception of your behaviour. The profile doesn’t ‘label’ people. It gives them a tool for control of self, and understanding of others, by appreciating differences and similarities. Your personalised report details: General characteristics, Value to the team, Challenge areas, Motivators, Greatest fear, Ideal environment, Communication Do’s and Don’ts, Growth areas.
